JOB DESCRIPTION

Problem Dull marks on bathroom counter, rough to the touch, loss of shine.

Cause Etch marks are caused by a liquid chemical reacting with the calcite in the marble. Cosmetic products, contact solution and cleaning products are usually the culprit.

Solution The immediate area was diamond honed to remove the etch marks, then brought back to a high polished finish and the area was blended with the rest of the top.

Result A repair that can neither be seen or felt.
